Cambridge Top-Down Cardigan

Who hasn’t owned a simple, shapeless, cardigan that was super comfortable, but lacking in personality and style? This cardigan gives you the same comfort and wearability, but with a fresh, feminine aesthetic. The waist and hip shaping call attention to your curves, and a wide neckband with a rolled finish makes this piece stand out from the crowd. You’ll never go back to your sad old cardigan once you’ve worn this one.

This cardigan is worked from the top down, beginning at the back shoulders. The back is worked to the armholes, then placed on hold while the fronts are picked up from the back shoulders and worked to the armholes. Then the back and fronts are joined and the body is worked to the bottom edge. The sleeves are picked up from the armholes and worked to the cuffs, with short-row shaping to shape the sleeve caps.
